NRT - Modality Description

What is Master Certified NRT - Neural Reset Therapy?

NRT  as a modality is a real game changer.  I was hooked on it's application and benefits after my first class and immediately signed on for the series in order to fast track toward receiving a Master Certification designation.

It's difficult to describe - in sort...the technique is based on Neurological Laws of Science. Manual resets expose and addresses muscular dysfunction through a series of moves or "resets".  These resets are communicated via the nervous system - to your brain.  Your brain then gives commands that the muscles then follow, as opposed to me, the therapist, mashing your muscles into submission.  Your brain just told your body to change! It often comes across as magic, though I prefer to think of it as supercharged science geek stuff.

The moves are specific and in my practice I am very persnickety.  I combine my 20+ years of hands-on anatomy experience, along with my Pilates teaching background - anatomy in motion and knowledge of the structural and mechanical world in order to isolate a target muscle, in order to reset one specific muscle at a time.

Early on, in my days in massage school, I came to realize this profound truth...

WE ARE INFINITELY SMARTER THAN OUR MUSCLES!

NRT is the fastest way I've found to access the body's innate intelligence.

These techniques can be applied while fully clothed in nearly any position - laying down, seated, standing or while in motion.
